Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. Then she moved on to acting and modeling. She was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actor. MacGraw was a worldwide star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw was named the most successful female in box office history. In 1972 her hand-footprints as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater.
