Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for over forty years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. After that, she performed in a number of Broadway shows before becoming a star on national stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. That same year, she released Her first album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda on God's Little Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and developed her association with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic, as opposed to the glamorous image that she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Her family moved to Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
