Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the first female who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. Her second place was both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete as well as a media star. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In addition, she is known for winning both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her parents and her siblings, was birthed at Reykjavik Iceland. As a fitness enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and also won numerous awards. As of 2009, she participated in the CrossFit competition in California. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. Additionally, in 2014 Annie received a Silver medal as well as, more recently in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her.
